LinkCare ("we", "us", "our") operates the LinkCare mobile application and web platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, phone number, profile photo, date of birth, and gender.

Doctor Profile Information: Medical specialization, biography, education, clinic address, consultation fees, languages, availability schedule, and portfolio media.

Identity Verification Documents: Government-issued ID and medical license, used solely to verify doctor credentials.

Health and Medical Data: Medical histories, consultation notes, diagnoses, vital signs, prescriptions, lab results, imaging results, and documents uploaded by patients. This data is entered by doctors during consultations or uploaded by patients directly.

Financial Information: Wallet balances, transaction history, and billing records. For doctors receiving payouts, we collect bank account details which are encrypted. We do not store credit or debit card numbers.

Device Information: Device name, platform, IP address, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications and manage active sessions.

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypting data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypting sensitive financial information at rest, and isolating medical records on a per-clinic basis. Authentication uses time-limited one-time PINs sent to your phone.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Medical records created during consultations may be retained as required by healthcare regulations. If you delete your account, your personal information will be permanently removed.

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
